Getting to the venue

Main venues

The IWMW 2019 event will be held in three locations which are near to each other:

  • registration, lunch and coffee breaks take place in the Dreadnought Building
  • plenary sessions take place in lecture theatre 003 on the ground floor of the Stockwell Street Building (which hosts the main library)
  • parallel workshop and lean coffee sessions take place in the Stephen Lawrence building.

Registration

Event registration will take place in the Dreadnought Building, which will also be used for lunch on day 2 and refreshments.

University Accommodation

Those who booked accommodation will be staying at the Defoe Hall. This is about 15 minutes walk from the university campus.

  • The Daniel Defoe hall of residence, for those who booked accommodation
  • Other nearby hotels, for those who booked hotel accommodation
  • The Greenwich DLR and mainline station (next to Daniel Defoe Hall) and the Cutty Sark DLR station.
  • Greenwich Pier, for the River Cruise on Wednesday 26 June (please arrive by 19.15).
