Matthew Castle is the Head of Application Development at the University of Oxford and has been in the organisation for 2 years. He has worked in software engineering for many years, across several verticals including ecommerce, channel marketing and financial services.
Matthew specialises in helping development teams adopt agile methodologies and underpin these with the software engineering disciplines required to deliver working software regularly.
He also has a passion for good software design and architecture and isn’t afraid to argue for core architecture refactoring if it’s no longer fit for purpose.
