Abstract
The workshop session on Intranets and Extranets will allow delegates to share experiences in this exciting area of information delivery development. The session will define intranets, explore the current state of play in institutions and tackle content and Intellectual Property, authentication and access control and the implications for personalisation of web access. Finally it will look at the software and tools which institutions have employed in their Intranet development and explore how institutions may share experience as they proceed with development.
