Bookings for the IWMW 2019 event have now closed!
Attendance at IWMW 2019 for members of the higher education sector is £420, which includes:
- full attendance at the event
- conference dinner
- lunch on day two
- refreshments
- two nights’ accommodation in the Halls of Residence (limited number of places!)
Those not needing accommodation pay just £320. Note that as only a limited number of rooms are available, once the rooms have been allocated you will have to book the no accommodation option and book your own hotel accommodations. A list of nearby hotels is available.
Note that the HE rates apply to those working in the Higher Education sector in all countries and not just the UK.

Have you chosen your workshop?
- If you haven’t done so already, identify your first and second choices for the workshop session on day two – you’ll need to specify these when you book!
- We will try our utmost to allocate your first choice but we can’t guarantee this: the earlier you book the better your chances!

Group discount
A 10% discount is available for bookings of 5 or more people made in a single booking. Please email event organisers for more information prior to booking. Note that when making a bulk booking you will need to send an email message with details of the numbers and types of tickets required: we will then set up a special link for you to use.
Event sponsors
If you’re an event sponsor, event organisers will be in touch regarding registration and special rates. Please do not book online!
Special tickets for sponsors
A limited number of special tickets are available for event sponsors for a short period:

These tickets are only available for a limited period and include the reduction provided to sponsors. If you would like further information do not complete the booking form but contact Brian Kelly (ukwebfocus@gmail.com) as soon as possible.
Other ticket types
Other ticket types, such as day tickets, are not currently available. If the event is not fully subscribed we may announce details of additional ticket types towards the end of May.
How to pay
Registration is hosted and managed by the University of Greenwich.
By card
Payment can be made online with a debit or credit card. Simply select your ticket type above. Credit card is the preferred method of payment (payment by invoice requires a time-consuming manual process, including validation of your institution!).
By invoice
If you need to pay by invoice versus using the online store, you’ll need to arrange this via contacting Jessica Crighton at: webteam@gre.ac.uk and provide the following information:
- PO number
- Name of organisation to invoice
- Full address of organisation to invoice
- Contact name and number
Note this is a very time-consuming process! In order to help us monitor such bookings, you are asked to send a confirmation of your booking to ukwebfocus@gmail.com giving your name and institution and the number of places requested.
Cancellation policy
- All cancellations must be confirmed in writing to webteam@gre.ac.uk
- Cancellations made before 18 May will be refunded minus a £35 administration fee.
- Cancellations made between 19 May and 15 June will be subject to a 50% cancellation fee.
- Cancellations made after 16 June will be subjected to a 100% cancellation fee, but substitutions will be possible.
Closing date
The official closing date for bookings was Friday 31 May. However we are keeping bookings open for a short period longer.
